LooM was an exhibition at the Missoula Art Museum that had two main components: an installation and a room of objects and drawings. The installation was based on the aesthetic and sociopolitical characteristics of my new home in contrast to the Midwestern towns I am grew up in. It took the form of a landscape seen through the lens of the children's book, "Goodnight Moon". Construction of this townscape was aided by school-age children brought to the Museum to help install by building toy log homes. The room of objects and drawings built on these allusions and signifiers to create a sort of visual history in support of the meta-idea.
